The walk-in registrar service and public counter at Castletown Town Hall are closed until further notice.
Commissioners in the town confirmed the update this morning.
The authority says staff will still be available over the phone to deal with queries on 825 005.
Officials add all outdoor services and public toilet provisions are currently unaffected.
