Ballasalla could lose its Post Office as services switch to Castletown in future.
The Post Office has launched a consultation about the future of services in the south of the Island after Ballasalla's subpostmaster gave their notice.
In an email, the organisation says there's nowhere else in the village to set up services, and nearby Castletown Post Office would benefit from a surge in customers.
Organisations such as local authorities have been asked to give their views on the proposals by January 17.
