DfE rebrands scheme

The Department For Enterprise has re-launched the Green Business Loan Scheme.

It's been renamed as the 'Business Energy Saving Scheme' and is designed to provide flexible financing options to businesses wanting to become more energy efficient. 

Key changes to the Scheme include financial assistance ranging from £1,000 up to a maximum of £20,000 per project and an increased payback period, extended from four to five years.

Eneterprise Minister Laurence Skelly said the Department has funded over 25 energy saving projects, worth over £230,000 to local businesses.
