The government says it still has a small number of computers running Microsoft software which stopped being supported three years ago.
This week in the House of Keys, Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas faced a question for written reply about the number of government computers running old software.
Although he didn't give numbers, he said there were a small number of PCs still running Windows XP.
Mr Thomas said although running old versions of Windows can be insecure, the systems are being decommissioned.
