The Isle of Man has signed up to a new treaty on tax avoidance - joining almost 70 other nations.
The OECD convention to prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting was signed in Paris last week by Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan MHK.
The deal aims to tackle tax avoidance by multinational companies.
Mr Cannan says the Isle of Man has a clear policy of complying with international standards as a responsible and reputable jurisdiction.
