People working on Island must earn £9.76 an hour, to cover the cost of living here.
That's according to the latest Isle of Man Living Wage report, which was published this morning.
Previous figures, which were released in 2017 set the rate at £8.61.
However, changes to the costs of goods and services for those with children are being named as the reason for the increase.
The living wage is a voluntary, unlike the minimum wage of £7.85 an hour.
