The Manx Insurance Association (MIA) is backing an initiative looking to help residents during the COVID-19 outbreak.
The MIA is supporting the Manx Solidarity Fund, a registered charity set up last month by the community to raise funds for those needing support during the pandemic - Lieutenant Governor, Sir Richard Gozney, is its patron.
Chairperson at the association, Peter Kenny, says, as a result, the organisation's individual members are making their own contributions to the project, adding the fund is a 'fantastic initiative which will provide support to those who are most in need'.
Meanwhile, Director of the fund, Melanie Kermeen, says they're 'immensely thankful' for the assistance and 'together, we can address this challenge'.
