Please protect posties from pooches!
That's the message from Isle of Man Post Office during Dog Awareness week this week.
The organisation says in the past five years, Manx postal workers have been subjected to more than 40 dog attacks - some resulting in severe life changing injuries.
The Post Office says you can help prevent attacks by keeping your dog out of the way in a back garden or a room to ensure safe delivery of post, or by fitting a secure mailbox where mail can be left without the risk of your pet attacking.
