Today is the first day a new Sanctions Act comes into force on the Island.
Sanctions are bans or restrictions put in place to maintain or restore international peace and security.
Isle of Man Government's new Act has restrictions on trade, finances, immigration and transport.
Failure to comply with the sanctions rules is an offence, which could result in a monetary fine or a prison sentence.
