The Island's courts say a new computer system costing £1.3 million will make the service more efficient.
A Freedom of Information request asked for details about the new Court Case Management System.
In its response, the General Registry says the new software has been used since August and replaced a system that was more than 25 years old.
And it added it had spent more than £63,000 since it was brought in.
