The Villa Gaiety could be set to receive new, more energy efficient light and sound equipment.
Tynwald members will be asked to approve the project at this month's sitting, which is set to cost over £1.6m.
The funding would come from the Capital Financing Reserve, and would be used to upgrade the equipment across the complex as what is currently in use is 'obsolete and in poor condition.'
December's Tynwald sitting is taking place on Tuesday 12th from 10am.

DOI orders abandoned cars at Tesco to move
The Department of Infrastructure is threatening to tow away a number of abandoned cars from Tesco's car park in Lake Road in Douglas.
