A man's been jailed after carrying out a nightclub attack while on probation.
Adam Lee Hine of Derby Square in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 23-year-old pleaded guilty to assault in the Outback nightclub on Barrack Street in Douglas on August 22 last year.
The court heard he'd been drinking in the club with his flatmate, and wanted to go home - but when his flatmate refused Hine punched one of his friends.
He later said he was "eight out of ten" drunk.
Mrs Hughes heard Hine was on probation at the time for an earlier assault, and also had hundreds of pounds in outstanding fines and compensation from previous convictions.
She told him he'd done nothing to help himself and jailed him for a total of 12 weeks.
