More than 1,200 women's medical cases have had to be examined after concerns at Noble's Hospital's radiology department.
Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford says concerns have been raised over one radiologist's work between January 2015 and March 2017.
So far, 26 women have been identified as needing additional assessment - and announced an investigation will take place into how the situation came about.
Mr Ashford says he'll make a statement in Tynwald next week.
