A 22 year old man lost his life following a road traffic collision on the Mountain Road this morning.
The collision occured at 07.50 near to the Mountain Box.
The man who died was driving a white Cirtoen Berlingo van towards Ramsey when it collided with a blue high top Ford Transit van travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Ford Transit was injured, and transferred to Nobles Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The police were in attendance at the scene for several hours whilst investigations took place.
Although a number of witnesses have already come forward anyone else with information is asked to contact police headquarters if they are yet to do so.
