Home Affairs Minister Jane Poole-Wilson says she can't give figures for how many parking offences there have been - because many aren't dealt with by police.
She faced a question for written reply from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson about the number of parking offences in the past three months and how they'd been dealt with.
Mrs Poole-Wilson said police had 43 calls about parking - 39 of those ended with no further action while four were given fixed penalties by officers.
Another four cars were spotted with out of date tax - they were seized, with two owners given a caution and two reported for summons.
