£5,000 Tesco windfall for primary school

Port St Mary's primary school will be getting a £5,000 boost after being chosen by a Tesco customer.

Shoppers at the supermarket's Castletown branch took part in a lucky dip as part of its plastic charity token scheme.

The person finding a golden token got to choose a local school to donate to.

Deputy head Sarah Cox says the money will make a big difference to the school.
