Manx students will not sit GCSE or A-level exams this summer, instead they'll have their grades determined by their schools.
The Education Department made the announcement this morning, and says it has the full backing of local secondary headteachers.
It's been revealed a new grading system will be built around a 'range of assessments' between now and early June.
This could include mock exams, coursework, essays and classroom based tests.
