Local addiction services charity Motiv8 has reported a bumper year of referrals with significant increases in those seeking help for issues surrounding gambling, drugs and alcohol.
In their latest report they say 5,052 pairs of feet have crossed their threshold for one to one and group work attendances over the last year.
Elsewhere in their report they say they've successfully discharged 648 people, seen 18 people referred to them straight from prison, and had children as young as 11 and under seek their help.
