Alleged sex attacker can't be named

A woman has been bailed after appearing in court over an alleged sex assault.

The 45 year old from Douglas can't be legally identified after Tynwald voted in new laws protecting alleged sex offenders.

She hasn't yet entered a plea to the allegation, which is said to have happened on June 29.

Bail was granted in the sum of £500 until her next appearance on August 13.
