The Island's information commissioner says almost 5,000 people were affected by data breaches last year.
Dr Alexandra Delaney-Bhattacharya will see her first annual report since taking up the post laid before Tynwald during its June sitting later this month.
In it, she reveals 4,918 people on the Island were affected by data breaches, with 152 personal breaches reported.
And she says a total of 14 data protection complaints were made - with her office taking action 14 times over data incidents.
