The Treasury doesn't know how much an assisted dying service would cost the taxpayer - because it doesn't know what the service will look like.
In the House of Keys this week, Treasury member Dr Michelle Haywood faced questions about the proposed laws.
Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas asked how much it would cost and when the Treasury had given permission.
But Dr Haywood explained nothing had yet been decided:
