    April sees lowest unemployment in seven years

    The Isle of Man saw its lowest unemployment rate in April for seven years.

    The rate remains at 19 per cent; 219 people signed onto the register during that month and 250 entered into employment.

    A third of long-term unemployed on the Island are under the age of 30. 
     
    Mr Bell says there's support for young people available, so there's no reason why they should remain in that bracket:
