Arbory and Rushen Commissioners have accused the government of a serious oversight after discovering two quarries in the area hadn't been included in a consultation about rates.
The government's considering cutting or capping rates paid by quarries, and the local authority says it has two in its area.
But consultation documents don't mention them, and the board says that means residents can't comment fully on the potential hit to income.
On Facebook, the commissioners are calling for the consultation to be reissued with the missing information.
