    Are the promenade roundels safe?

The new roundels on Douglas Promenade are set for discussion in Tynwald later today.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask the Home Affairs minister to clarify police guidance on how to cross them.

The roundel on Broadway is one of two put on Douglas promenade as part of the refurbishment project.

On a recent post on social media, Mr Moorhouse said he feels he is putting "his life at risk" each time he uses them.

He's now calling for road safety clarity "before an accident takes place".

The roundels are described as 'unmarked junctions' by the Department of Infrastructure, where no one has priority, so drivers are currently advised to be cautious and considerate.
