Police Appeal for Witnesses to Assault
Between 3am and 3.30am this morning a male was assaulted in the area of the junction of Barrack Street and Church Street.
The vicious attack was carried out by another male and left him with serious facial injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the assault is urged to contact the police immediately.
A male is currently
detained in custody.
