A new inquest into the Summerland disaster would be considered by the Attorney General.
In the House of Keys this week the Chief Minister Alf Cannan faced a question about a new inquest into the deaths of those at the disaster in 1973 where 50 people lost their lives.
He said that last year a law firm was instructed by the families of the victims to try and overturn a previous verdict of their deaths being rules as a result of misadventure.
But Mr Cannan said an official request hadn't been received:
