Be aware of Monkeypox symptoms, says Gov't

The government's urging people to be on the lookout for signs of monkeypox.

The disease is spreading through the UK and further afield.

On Facebook, the government says there are no cases it knows of on the Island but it's urging people to be vigilant.

If you think you have symptoms such as unusual rashes or lesions, fever, muscle aches, chills and exhaustion, headaches or swollen lymph nodes, you should contact the GUM sexual health clinic.

You can find more information at gov.im/monkeypox
