Ben-my-Chree back in action

It needed to go in for emergency repairs to re install the recently fixed bow thrust.

It had been an issue that had contributed to the many cancellations experienced throughout December, however it is hoped now back to full power these will become far more infrequent.

Whilst out of action the Manannan took on it's daily crossings to Heysham, it was also able to cope with a small amount of freight.

Its first sailing of the day will be from Douglas to Heysham, setting off at 8.45am.
