The number of people referred to the mental health service has leapt by 28 per cent in a year.
The figure was revealed by Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford in Tynwald this week.
He says 595 people were seen last year, compared to 464 the year before.
Mr Ashford says his department needs to understand why more people are being referred to mental health specialists.
