Big take up for 'night owl' bus service

Extra buses were on hand last night as part of the annual night owl service.

The additional late night services from Douglas will also run on New Year's Eve, taking party goers back to Ramsey, Port Erin and Peel at 12.15am and 01.15am.

Buses will be returning to Douglas from Ramsey bus station and Port St Mary at both 12.15 and 01.15am and from Peel Town Hall at 12.50am and 01.50am.

The fare is double a standard daytime price for the same journey taken.

All services are suspended on Christmas day.
