The Department of Infrastructure is asking motorists to drive cautiously on the Billown Circuit today as preparations for racing get underway.
This week, the Southern 100 Course will see patch repairs at various locations, and painters will be retouching road markings.
As a result, there'll be temporary speed limits as well as traffic controls around the course.
On Facebook, the department is asking people to slow down and be prepared to stop.
