The Biosphere Bee Community Picnic is set to return this year.
The government initiative invites schools, clubs, community groups, and businesses to connect in nature and celebrate local food and drink.
Those interested in organizing a picnic can register on the UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man website, and will then get a guidance pack.
Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture, Clare Barber, says as well as its natural connotations, Bee means gathering in English and is Manx for food, 'making it the perfect title for the event.'
