Election candidates have been sent bizarre threats by a group which doesn’t believe coronavirus is real.
Letters from the “Manx Truth Commission” have been sent to those standing in Thursday’s polls claiming the virus isn’t real and threatening a £500,000 fine if they claim otherwise.
The bogus “notice of liability” claims to have been issued by lawyers for the group – despite the fact the Manx legal system has advocates.
On Facebook, at least one candidate says the group spelled their name wrong.
