    Blue Plaque for Bee Gee singer Robin Gibb

    Bee Gee star Robin Gibb will be honoured in his home town of Oxfordshire next month by a foundation which celebrates the UK's best entertainers.

    The Heritage Foundation will unveil a "Blue Plaque" for the Manx born singer in conjunction with Thame Town Council. 

    Robin, who died following a lengthy battle with cancer, was a past president of the Heritage Foundation and the plaque will be unveiled by members of his family at his home in Thame. 

    The unveiling event on September 30th will be followed by a garden party in the star’s grounds with profits generated going to the Bomber Command Memorial maintenance appeal fund.  

    Chairman of the Heritage Foundation, David Graham, said the plaque would be a fitting tribute:
