Bomb cancels Island flights to London City

Flights to London City Airport have been cancelled this morning, after a World War 2 bomb was found nearby.

The device was found by builders in the River Thames on Sunday.

As a result, the airport was forced to close and remains shut today.

The 7am flight from Ronaldsway had to be cancelled, as has the return flight due to arrive on the Island shortly after 10am.
