Braddan Commissioners hope to borrow up to £3.4m to complete leisure development

Braddan Commissioners hopes to borrow up to £3.4m from the Department of Infrastructure to complete its leisure development.

The Roundhouse was due to be finished by August this year, which was pushed back until October - the local authority now says the complex will open 'this winter.'

It'll provide a range of leisure, health and community facilities for all ages, and feature a pharmacy, café, sports hall and gym.

Chair of the Commissioners Andrew Jessopp says schemes of this nature take a long time to come to fruition, and inevitably, the cost has risen.
