Broadband speeds in some areas of the Isle of Man are 'totally inadequate' and should be monitored.
That's the opinion of Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker who told the House of Keys yesterday he believed it was 'completely unacceptable':
The Communications Commission doesn't measure broadband performance however it is now looking at introducing a measure following research from other jurisdictions.
Chairman Bill Malarkey said whilst 91 per cent of the Island has high speed broadband coverage he's aware there are issues which need addressing:
Weather warning for rain and flooding
Peace plaque sign for Douglas square
A month left to become an MGP newcomer!
TT campsite for Ramsey Rugby Club?
40 dilapidated properties on council's list
Island to remember its fallen
MHK wants to know how many children choose school meals over packed lunch
