Bus Vannin says it operates a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to abuse against its staff.
It issued a statement this week after a woman was convicted of assault and threatening behaviour towards one of its drivers in a racist incident.
Bus Vannin says it's grateful to the courts for treating the incident with the seriousness it deserves and the organisation will always support employees subjected to abusive behaviour.
It adds any form of threatening, violent or discriminatory conduct will result in immediate action and potential prosecution.
