    Business owner hits out at treatment received by commissioners

    A Ramsey businesswoman at the centre of a bizarre dispute over a telegraph pole, has hit out at the way she was treated by the local commissioners.

    Leanne Higgins is the owner of the Pink Seaweed Gallery, and had put forward a proposal to give the pole a fresh paint job.

    Her suggestion of adding flowers to the pole led to indignation amongst some of the commissioners, who blocked her proposal.

    Leanne felt she wasn't treated fairly, and it isn't the type of proactive message they should be putting out:
