Modernisation to Tynwald's branches will be informed by an expert on parliamentary reform.
The Cabinet Office has appointed Westminster's Lord Lisvane to take evidence with a view to report back his findings by June of this year.
It's promised that he'll also be looking to compare best practice between Tynwald the Scottish, Welsh and Irish Republican governments.
