Douglas could be getting a new café, if planners give the go-ahead.
Romilda Dentith of Lakeside Road in Douglas has applied for permission to convert a shop on Howard Street in the capital.
She says she wants to transform the former fabric shop into a cafe and takeaway.
If the plans are approved, the café would open from 8m to 4pm Monday to Saturday.
