    Call for criminal responsibility rules to be refreshed

    The minimum age of criminal responsibility on the Island needs updating.

    That's the view of the Celtic League which has sent a letter addressing the issue to the Home Affairs Minister.
     
    It was writing in response to the new appropriate adult scheme which is geared toward supporting young and vulnerable people in police custody.
     
    Director of information Bernard Moffatt says the current age of 10 is far too young:
