Campaigners say they're delighted proposed new abortion laws have passed their last hurdle in the House of Keys.
Yesterday, Dr Alex Allinson's private member's bill was given its third reading and will now head to Legislative Council to be considered there.
The Campaign for Abortion Law Modernisation says although it's disappointed not all MHKs voted in favour, it's pleased with the progress being made.
A spokesman says the group hopes LegCo will scrutinise the bill in a timely way, describing it as "the compassionate law the Island deserves".
