Police are warning residents of scam circulating the Island.
Officers say they've received reports a man is calling people from a private number, stating he found a note on his cars and alleges its from the person he calls.
The man then goes on to say they've hit his car, and left a note on his windscreen with their details - before asking for personal details.
Authorities say to hang up and provide no details if you receive such a call.
