    Census mistake means 'missing' children

    Quality checks on census forms revealed a number of under-16s weren't listed on the forms properly. 

    The economic affairs division discovered the number of children and young people on the census list didn't match up to school records. 

    The department won't confirm how many children have been missed off the census.

    Head of economic affairs Adam Smith says they did change the layout of the form and one section about employment does seem to be where most people got it wrong:
