Two women from the UK will stand trial in the Court of General Gaol Delivery, accused of bringing cocaine to the Isle of Man on a ferry.
Dominique Carline of Norris Road and Dani Leigh Sharp of Meynell Place, both from Chester, appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
Both deny jointly producing drugs and possessing them with intent to supply at the Sea Terminal in Douglas on October 17.
No bail application was made on behalf of 23 year old Miss Carline or 24 year old Miss Sharp and both were remanded in custody.
Mrs Hughes committed them to stand trial in the Island’s higher criminal court, where they’ll appear again on a date to be fixed.
