Chief Minister Alf Cannan has insisted changes made to a report into his government's handling of the pandemic were made by its author.
In the House of Keys, he was quizzed by Onchan MHK Julie Edge about why two versions of the report exist - one with remarks from Manx Care removed.
Mr Cannan said Kate Brunner KC had compiled the report and so he couldn't say why changes had been made.
And he repeatedly pointed out the investigation was an independent one:
Government paid grant for fishing boat used in drug smuggling plot
Manxman sailings cancelled because of gales
Yule be missing this, say police!
No net zero referendum after Tynwald vote
8% rise in government workers, 36% rise in salaries since 2021
