Douglas Council is due to meet later today.
The local authority's monthly meeting takes place in the City Hall on Ridgeway Street from 2.30pm.
On its agenda are a £13,000 display case for its letters of patent from Queen Elizabeth, as well as new equipment for the crematorium and a possible twinning with Dublin.
The meeting is open to the public in the Council Chamber.
