The cleanup operation in Douglas is progressing well following the recent bad weather.
Douglas Council has praised its employees for their part in trying to right the damage caused by strong winds and tidal storm surges.
The promenade was particularly badly affected with widespread flooding, debris being deposited on walkways and damage caused to the sea wall.
The Sunken Gardens also lived up to their name ending up several feet under water – ruining much of the flower and plant displays.
