Coastguards were called out twice yesterday after clifftop incidents in Peel.
The first happened at 11.30am after a walker slipped and suffered a suspected broken ankle on the path to Corrin's Folly.
Coastguard officers took the walker to a waiting ambulance, which took them to Noble's Hospital.
Shortly before 6pm, they were called out again after a dog fell over the cliff edge at the back of Peel Hill.
Officers climbed down, but the dog hadn't survived its fall.
